He must be a repeat offender! There are more victims

Original author: Wu said blockchain Colin

Wu said that according to @hananotsorry Hana’s Twitter account, on the evening of October 24, a DWF partner repeatedly placed unknown objects in her drink at a bar in Hong Kong. DWF responded: The partner was accused of inappropriate and unacceptable behavior. During the investigation of the matter, DWF Labs decided to immediately remove the partner from management and operations positions.

The specific process is: the two parties were drinking in the bar, the woman went to the bathroom, and the man took out an unknown object from his pocket and put it into the womans drink three times in a row. After the woman came back, she took a few sips, and the man went out to answer the phone. Then the waiter reminded her of the mans behavior. The woman returned to Hong Kong on October 29 and called the police and retrieved the surveillance video. The woman said that the two waiters also testified to this. Wu said that he checked the relevant video and confirmed the existence of the above behavior.

The video shows that the man in question is Eugene Ng, a partner of DWF. In addition to being a partner of DWF, Eugene Ng is also the co-founder of OpenEden, an RWA project invested by Binance. OpenEden has suspended Eugene Ng from his position in the company and removed him from the management and operations of the company and its affiliates. DWFLabs announced on social media that Lingling Jiang will take over as a formal partner of the company and lead strategic business development.

Hana: I’m not completely considered a crypto person yet. I work in a traditional USD fund, but I’m looking for a job in the crypto world.

I met DWF at the Hong Kong Blockchain Week in April this year. Later, during KBW, I met Eugene at the event. He invited me to dinner and we had a good chat. We also met Singapore Token 2049. He told me that he had sent my resume to many people. During this period, he did give me alpha, but I didnt understand it and didnt do any transactions.

We have always kept in touch. Maybe he would come to say hello every two or three days. He would often ask me if I was happy today or not. But I didnt think he did it for any other purpose. Overall, I thought he was a very gentleman.

Before everything that happened in the bar on October 24, I was not prepared at all and I never thought that he would drug me.

When the time came for Solana’s hackathon, Eugene told me that I only needed to buy a plane ticket and he would take care of everything else. He asked me when I would arrive, and I said I would arrive on the morning of the 24th, and then he said we could have dinner together.

Around 8:15pm on October 24th, he sent me the address of the bar and I went there. There was nothing suspicious about the whole process except the above sentence. The only thing he asked me was whether I needed to leave my luggage at his hotel. I still booked the hotel myself.

I arrived at the bar before him. I sent him a message saying that I really liked this bar. It was very design-oriented and bright. I also liked the entire decoration style and the music.

Around 8:25, Eugene arrived at the bar and started talking about who he had met at the Solana event. I felt that he was trying to help me find a job that suited me, and that was how I felt about him, and I also cherished this opportunity.

He started talking about his family. He said he might quit the entertainment industry in two years. He also talked about his faith and that he went to church every week. He said his marriage was very unhappy. His wife was very rich and they had two children. They couldnt agree on many things and they often quarreled. He said he came from a very poor family and had slept in hostels, airports, and even on the streets. He said he bought a big villa for his wife. In short, he was expressing that his career was very successful, but his family was very miserable. He also told me that the couples sex life was not good and they slept in separate beds. Now that I think about it, this might be a routine.

Around 10, he said he had a conference call for a project and started talking on the phone from his seat. Around 10:15, I went to the bathroom (drug time) and returned to my seat a few minutes later.

We then had another round of drinks and I drank about a third of it.

At this time, Eugene said the bar was too noisy and he had to go out to answer a phone call.

As soon as he left, the waiter ran up to me and told me in English: I think the guy put something in your drink.

The waitress said that a French couple at the next table saw it and told her. The waitress checked the surveillance camera before deciding to tell me and replaced my glass of wine.

Appendix: Wu said the surveillance video he had reviewed showed that after Hana left, Eugene took out the suspected drugs from his thigh pocket, looked around, picked up Hanas wine glass, put the suspected powdery object into it three times in a row, then quickly put it back on the table and wiped his hands with a napkin. Hana drank the wine after she came back. The whole drugging process took less than a minute.

A conversation with Hana, a victim of the drug scandal: Three hours on the edge of hell

A conversation with Hana, a victim of the drug scandal: Three hours on the edge of hell I was stunned at the time. I leaned my head against the wall and was stunned for dozens of seconds. My mind was blank. I couldnt believe it at the time because in many aspects he made me feel that he was a very good person.

I even think there is a high possibility that this is fake, maybe someone has misread it. Because if this is true, it would be too scary.

I felt that I couldnt wrongly accuse Eugene, so I had to confirm whether this matter was true or not. After he came back, I asked him if I could change the wine to drink. He immediately became very nervous and snatched his wine glass away, and the wine was about to spill.

Then I asked him to change the glass and order a new one. He immediately objected and said that it was a waste of the glass of wine and asked me not to change it and drink it immediately.

At this time, I no longer had any illusions, and even began to be a little scared, because I had already drunk one-third of the drugged wine. The whole process of pulling was very long. He kept asking me why I didnt drink, and kept trying to get me to drink. He was very anxious.

Around 11:45, I said I was full and wanted to leave, so I called an Uber in advance, but it was very difficult to get one at that time, so I went out. Hong Kong has all kinds of stairs up and down, and I felt dizzy, so I squatted down immediately. Eugene told me not to squat, but to stand up, and he kept pulling me up, letting me lean on him, and put my hands on him.

I felt very uncomfortable, dizzy, and really a little scared. I wanted to push him away, but I didnt have the strength, so he put my hand on his shoulder. I calmed myself down a little, then immediately squatted on the ground again. I did this about three times. But I still couldnt get a taxi with my phone, and I was very anxious.

Eugene started to say those things to me: I will take you to get a taxi, I have a suite in Murrary, if you treat me well, I can give you more insider information, girls are too hard, in fact, you don’t need to work in the cryptocurrency project, I will give you Alpha to make money. This matter has been said many times, including saying that the cryptocurrency circle is very hard.

Later I canceled the Uber and called a Taxi directly. Finally one came and it took six minutes. But I still told him that I didnt get one, hoping to let him down and delay the time.

My car was finally arriving, and I was afraid that he would do something to me again. I was really dizzy at that time, so I just squatted on the ground. He pulled me up, but I hugged my legs with both hands and refused to stand up.

So he squatted down, held me with his hands, and kept talking to me. He stood very close to me until I felt dizzy, and then he persisted for six minutes.

He kept asking me to go to his hotel, and I said I had already booked it and couldnt refund it, and then he said he would cover all my expenses and transfer me USDT. I was already very angry at the time, and I said stop saying that, and I said it very strongly.

I told him my car was coming. He wanted to get in with me, and he even opened my door, but I said no, I can do it myself. Then I got in, and my legs were weak. I was so scared when I saw him getting in the car that I slammed the door with my last bit of strength and said to the driver: Go!

The driver might have experienced something similar, so he stepped on the accelerator and rushed out. I felt like I was on a roller coaster.

After I got back, I lay on the sofa for about 20 minutes, feeling dizzy. Although I cant drink much, Im not weak in my limbs. That kind of weakness and inability to use strength is not the state of being drunk.

At the time, I felt very lucky. If this had happened, the consequences would have been disastrous. I felt really sick. I am very grateful to the waiter for telling me.

I also felt very scared. I didnt think about how to confront him because Im nobody and no one in the cryptocurrency circle would listen to me.

Although I didnt watch the surveillance video at that time, I was thinking that the light was so bright, and I was very curious about how he put this thing, because the light was really bright, and no normal person would dare to do it.

I thought about it and thought that he must be a veteran and might have harmed many people, and he might do it again. I felt that it was not a good idea, so I made the first call to one of my best friends in the circle.

He said he would accompany me to Hong Kong, so I booked a flight at 8 a.m. on October 29. I had a meal after getting off the plane, calmed down, and drank a cup of coffee. I went to a bar first, but it was not open. So I went directly to the police station.

The police recorded all the information, and I repeated what happened. I took the report receipt to the bar to check the surveillance. When I walked in, it turned out to be the young lady who warned me before (probably Filipino)! Eugene said before that he was friends with a shareholder of this bar, and I was a little afraid that the two of them were in collusion.

When I saw the waitress, I was very excited because she was a nice person. At first when I went in, I was going to pretend that I had lost something (I was afraid that the other party was in collusion), but when I saw it was her, I stopped pretending and told her directly.

She also said that she was very surprised. This had never happened to them before. Everyone was extremely surprised. No one would dare to do such a thing in such a bright place.

The first thing she asked me was what happened next, and I kept telling her the story. Without saying a word, she took out the surveillance iPad, and the waiters also came over, and everyone surrounded me to watch.

Soon we found the drugging clip.

Before this, I still had hope for a person, but when I really saw Eugenes face, and then I saw his hand (putting drugs in my glass three times), it felt like you really ate shit.

The waiters were all shocked, saying so fucked up, Ive never seen anyone doing this. They kept saying that this guy must be a repeat offender, his movements were so smooth, he must have done it many times and succeeded, so he dared to do it so openly and without fear. In this state, he completed these things so quickly.

I took the video and went back to the police station. The police said I was lucky to see that he was a repeat offender and very skilled. The police said they would assist me in the investigation. Unfortunately, because I did not call the police on the same day, there was no physical evidence. Although there were witnesses and surveillance, he would definitely argue and refuse to admit it. The most important thing was the physical evidence, the glass of wine. Then the police were more worried about my safety and told me to be careful, because the public disclosure of surveillance videos might involve the violation of personal privacy.

I thought, no matter whether the police can arrest him or not, I have to speak out. So I sent out a tweet on the night of October 29. The speed at which the influence of the matter spread was completely beyond my expectation, because I only have more than 50 followers. I have always been worried that no one will see it after I post it, but fortunately my friends have been supporting me and asking people to forward it.

The most unexpected thing during the process was that someone used my currency to issue a coin. A friend told me that I needed to clarify that this had nothing to do with me.

After posting the tweet, Eugene contacted me and said, Let me know if youre up to chat. Then he sent me a few similar messages and called me several times, but I didnt answer.

I think at the current speed of dissemination, the traffic should have exploded. I am still very satisfied, I think everyone is very positive and helps to forward it, I am very happy and very relieved, this is very different from what I imagined, because I was very scared, afraid that no one would care.
